My old Turq had blue in the face, but not unrealistic obviously tweaked neon blue like the original picture, mine didnt have the marine fish like yellow belly or the over enchanced Turq colour etc
I stand by my original statement that made a 44 year old man cry like a 4 year old girl, and that is, the original picture is a basic photoshop.
Very basic, you could just put it in photoshop, play with the vibrance tool, and boom, done in 2 mins.
Heros efasciatus are highly variable in color as I stated earlier I've never seen any with that intense yellow belly coloration. If you have a membership to The Cichlid Room Companion search Heros efasciatus and the one pictured titled "Pair in the aquarium" by Don Danko is the "spitting image" of what my stock looked like. Link provided if you have a membership.

If you don't have a membership to CRC here is a link I found that is pretty close to the photo on CRC and looks to be close to the TS I use to have. The ones pictured on CRC are spawning and in breeding dress, so they are light up. I'd like to share that when I Googled "Heros efasciatus" lots of images came up that weren't even close to the real deal, viewers beware.

I cannot speak to photoshop nor does it make a difference. Frankly, HybridGS this constant droning on about Photoshop, making people crying, and so on is very annoying and isn't adding to the thread.
If it will help you feel better, I'll collapse and agree you're correct on all levels about everything you said? Now you've been acknowledged please move on.
