Ok! So my guppies, Mollies, tetras just got poisoned from the liner I used for their new pond. Not aquarium liner. Their is only 1 Tetra left and I lost all the baby white mollies except for the dieing one in the betta bowl. Another thing. The betta has moved into the Goldfishs 10 Gallon and the Gfish have moved into the 100 Gallon tank that used to hold the poisoned fish. I NEED some help here ASAP! I have a spare 1 gal and A cup of tea. I am still soaking wet and Have a 2 Gal bowl full of sick fish. I put some med into [ Lots of med ;) ] I have filters heating etc.

sorry for your loss... and their loss....:(

How are you sure it was a poisoning from a chemical release from the pond liner? Did you test the water for unusual chemicals? I'm not trying to deminish your loss but is could be something else. I would put all the sick fish into the 100g. You weren't clear as to how many fish were effected. If the tank is stable, that's the best environment for them right now. I would add some salt, about 1tbsp/5g. That will help with their respiratory, osmoregulation, slime coat etc.

What kind of liner ? If it's just plain plastic, or rubber, this would not have happened. sorry to hear about this, though.

The water STUNK like anything! also we only got that liner this morning so.. It was from a hardware store. The goldfish are staying in the 100 Gal because I can't even move because of the work I did to save them. 6 Died three mins ago. The liner was rubbery plastic. Think because the last one broke. I am talking about ALL 40 of my fish. Already put the best Aqua salt. The tank has have Wayy to many dead fish and is not stable. Any help? Thank you for supporting me through this. My tetra X guppy mix is half dead :(

So, what did you use for the new water ? And for future reference, NEVER test a "new" set up with more than 1 or 2 fish.

Eww! I just found a dead tetra with a HOLE in its tummy! Our pond is not new because we had to move the liner three times! First time mud was slipping into the pond, Fixed by putting a rock divider. Next we put the guppies in and there was a HOLE

Next we put the guppies in and there was a hole and so I had to quickly get the fish out. Fixed by getting a new liner from the hardware store. Then THIS happened! God I HATE that POND! And yet we are getting someone to fix the pond and dunk the fish in!
