was fishing a carp tourney last weekend and got a 6ft ugly stick with an Abu Garcia baitcaster. Rinsed the reel off and re-lined it and went bass fishing with it today lol.

I caught a zombie carp. It must have had some sort of disease. Its scales were falling off and it was lumpy and weird-looking, and the smell was unholy. I was gagging trying to get it off the line.

On a NY fishing forum that I frequent, someone caught a Chevy Big-Block V8 with a Rapala. We all got a good laugh out of that one.

Caught an octopus while fishing off a dock in Puget Sound, Wa. It was about 6 or 7 feet outstretched. I was about 12 years old. When we pulled it up on the dock an old timer asked if I was going to keep it. I obviously said No, and he proceeded to hack off all its tentacles, grab its head, rip the hook out and toss it back in the Sound. It was horrifying. I still feel bad for not stopping him.
I cought half a bullhead once. i was reeling, and I feel this big tug for a moment, then nothing. it was a clean bite so it must have been a @#*%ing salmon (dogfish rip them to shreds). Also, i once saw someone catch a small octopus. Like 8 in. from head to tentacle tip.
