What was the wackiest thing you have ever caught?

I was dock fishing and I caught a rock bass, which was using the line as an escape from a snapping turtle... :)

We released him afterwards.

I once caught the same fish 4 times over a weeklong cottage break. He had holes all over his mouth and had got a hook through one of his eyes. We named him Madd-eye
 
a pike.....by the tail!!!! around 20inch long..
felt something and pulled,was surprised to see him butt first

also caught a big ass pike 30inch and when 20 feet from shorei felt a big weight on the line...then stopped.when i got him to shore there was a huge piece of meet missing on his back.must have been a monster to feed on such a large pike

my grandma always told me about how my grandpa threw out his line and caught a bald eagle ... he was using minnows but anyway they had to have help getting the hook out of its beak and ended up using an umbrella to block it while some little kid fished it out
 
I caught a common snapping turtle by his neck while fishing for catfish, and my mother caught a spiny softshell turtle with a shell length of at least 3ft. My favorite is the sea bass I caught while deep sea fishing in the Gulf; I caught it on the sinker lol. It literally held onto the sinker the entire time while I was reeling it into the boat, and it spit the sinker out as soon as I got it in the boat.
 
i onetime was using a zebeco 33 pushbutton rod at the river and i caught a zebeco 33 pushbutton rod just like the one i was using in the river..weird...
 
Quite a few rod and reel combos, an anchor, a boat, a mazda, 18" dia softshell turtle - 30 in dia alligator snapping - 5 ft gar on crappie jigs - a remington 22 rifle- almost a whole chain of .50 cal machine gun ammo while fishing on post. 3 in perch on 10 inch bass worm. tons of water moccasins. a squirrel - cast on bank and he was just to quick for me. several ducks or birds - a beaver(fiesty little guy)- a huge pacu in a texas lake- 2 foot long eels and 4 ft long carp in saddams lakes in iraq while deployed there - didnt quite land all of them( like the mazda) but most of them came in nicely - spiderwire is the ultimate -- i'm sure i'll remember more later but thats a pretty good list -
