What was the wackiest thing you have ever caught?

Back in the day, caught a fish (not sure what it was) with just the line. Left my line in the water to go dig for worms, when I came back, fish had swallowed the line about 5 feet above the bobber. Couldnt even pull it out, had to cut the line.

an octopuss in a coffee mug. it was the weirdest thing to see coming up out of the water, until i got it on the pier and the coffee mug dropped and broke and there was a freakin' octopuss. scared the crap out of me. i was 13
