4" short bodied synodontis, and 3" stripped rapheal (now a fat 6"), but the main thing that sparked my interest, was when i first saw a dragon goby. then when i got an electric catfish, i really got into it. don't have the awsome cat anymore (RIP), but i got a plump lazy 10" dragon goby

My parents bought a 10 gallon tank way back in 1968 when I was only 5 years old. I remember that there were two tiny oscars in there (I can still see their faces in my mind) and a couple of Angelfish and a Pleco and maybe a few other's. That was when I got the bug for this hobby. It is amazing to me that I still can recall all of those memories. So many people have come and gone. 
My first fish was a comon oscar a long time ago he lived at least 10 yrs I think he died of old age
Pretty sure it was a 10 gallon, fancy guppies, betta, ghost shrimp, and some barbs of some type. Had many, many ten gallons, then got a 55G set it up as a community with a plec(that I still have and is now 12'') mixed barbs(tigers, greens, albino tigers), corydoras, few ghost shrimp, fancy guppies, mollies. Had them for a long time. Still have the Plec though, Had the barbs until a couple months ago, they just started dying one-by-one.
