What was your first fish?

my first aquatic was a fire newt my mom got me when I was 6 I was so pumped, that is until I rushed home to find that it had its legs eaten off by my sisters angelfish. I cant remember but I think I actually paid the fish back by flushing it down the toilet

I got my first fish when I was 6 years old. They were a pair of Julii corys that went on to live for 7 years. It was a sad day for me when they passed.

fighting fish, bought for fun and fought with my big bro's fighting fish, lost the fight and died. I was 3-4 years old back then and had no knowledge about fish

I had a betta and a comet in a 10 gallon with a corner filter and never did a water change. From what I remember they lasted a couple months at least

The first fish I owned were two goldfish that were given to me as a X'mas present in a hexagonal 2 gallon. I think I was about 5 or 6 yrs old.
