my first herp was a malayan box turtle. i think i was around 7 then.

3 painted turtles as a gift

other than wild caught anoles (green and brown) and a couple of box turtles, my first purchased herp was either a green iguana or a tokay (gift) not sure on the order there. I was around 12 then. after that there were newts, frogs of all sorts and then mom finally broke and I was on to snakes.
