Im in the process of unloading ALL my fish, no need for them any more. Im budgeting about $2K for a gun buying spree.

Im approaching this in a couple different directions.

A: one REALLY nice semi-auto "evil black rifle". Im thinking FS2000, PS90, Sig 556, MSAR AUG clone, HK G3 clone, ect. These would be more of a safe queen type rifle. A rifle to hold on to as an investment.

B: Load up on cheap beater type weapons. Im thinking, AKM-47 to keep in my car, Kel-tecP3-AT as a bug, a bigger yet still concealable handgun (G23 or something similar), a semi 12ga (Saiga12), and maybe something else. The theme here is cheap, rugged, reliable.

So tough right now to find anything in stock though after last week. Two local gun shops closed down as they ran out of inventory!! :WHOA:

ETA, can a mod add a poll, I forgot? (Option A/Option B)

For carrying one yourself all the time, consider a Beretta 92fs with 2 15 round magazines.

I would go the big black gun rought. But I would do a cheep AR then go nuts withaftermarket parts. I.E. quad rail, green pulse laser, flash lights, 5-10 mags and dura coat them and throw in magpul self leveling followers, and a nice sight system ACOG if you can find a used one lol.

You should be able to get a cheeper AR for 800 new. then you have 1200 to trick it out. Now no way can you get all what I listed for 1200 but you shoulod be able to get all and then some if you just got like a red dot insted of the ACOG.

But that's me and that's also what I am doing.

what the heck you need all these guns for? Armageddon?

Im not an AR fan, plus there are so many that if the worse shall happen I dont think Id have a hard time finding one...

I think I need some advice on a nice handgun to carry. I've got a shotgun in the house, but I feel more and more like I need to get a handgun before regulations are tightened.

I'd like to get an affordable 9mm since I could take it to the range and shoot it inexpensively.

What would you suggest? Sorry for the slight derail.

Well if I pick the high end weapon it would be for investment purposes, guns are almost ALWAYS only going to go up in price.

If I choose option B, it would still be a good investment, plus Id have alot more weapons to beat around with and have fun at the range.
