I was driving a company vehicle at the time and I heard what was going on on the radio, turns out my aunt was up in New York for that day.I felt at the time that we were being attacked and in my panic,I did make a stop at home to arm myself. My aunt was not near the area that was attacked but my condolences go out the families of those who were.

I was in 5th grade. The teachers never explained what happened, the school was talking about it but nobody understood. I remember my teacher saying something horrible had happened and to go home and turn on the t.v.

I was in new york. i live in brooklyn. at the time i was a fish/cars/dinosaur/brucespringsteen obsessed little 6 yr old. I didn't know the significance. We had a tribute in school today. They played a slideshow of pics from that day with the song "You Raise Me up." I got goosebumps. I'll never forget looking over and seeing my former teacher sitting in a chair holding a clipboard. She had no facial expression but her hands were shaking. she couldn't hold it straight.

Woke up to it on the today show seeing the second plane hit the tower, then went to school in the fourth grade.

I was studying my lessons when I noticed my parents were somehow looking at the TV in shock. I was puzzled at first until I was shocked to see what was on the news. Went to school the next day and then the whole school held a prayer vigil for the incident on that day. It was really a sad day for everyone.:( I'm not from America but this shows even some people around other countries still care for what really happened to our neighbors and I really do.

I was in the 4th grade i had been late and was wondering what was going on when i saw my teacher crying and everyone looking at the TV. we watched the whole thing and half the class checked out. i latter learned that my teacher had a friend who work in the world trade centers but she had been late because she had missed her ferry and was out on the water while it happened.

I was on the military base in Bremerton Wash when it happened. You can't imagine the amount of security that jumped to attention at that moment! It was and always will be a very difficult day for many!!!

I was in the 11th grade English class.. and we watched it all the reports on the news as it happened. Then the next few days just watched how security in Sydney and Australia got upgraded just in case we were next

I was in algebra in the 10th grade when some chick came in screaming that the pentagon had been bombed. We were all lost then we turned on the tv and there was the first tower in smokes... it was 15min later as we are watching the coverage live we saw the second plain hit.

I was in 3rd grade lining up to leave art class. At the time, I had no idea of the significance of it. When a teacher came in and told us the World Trade Centers were under attack, the only thing I could think of was a bunch of forklifts buzzing around a ship yard. For some reason that was my idea of a trade center.... Until my mom picked me up after school, I had no idea what had even happened....
