nope, not if they already had it before. They can't sell it or breed it though, I believe
 
arlight. their such cool fish. its a shame their illegal. i was at my lfs a couple months ago and saw what apeared to be a bunch of tiny snakeheads int a 30 gallon! turns out the were some kind of poly but i almost freaked.lol

wow thats a bumer. and very unfair i think? if their in a tank they arnt doin harm to anything. bogus

You're right but unfortunately there are people who think that letting their fish go is a good option for getting rid of them.
 
We are the exceptions in that we have the ability, resources, and knowledge to keep them. Unfortunately, laws are made for the masses.
