yep
its just the people that dont do the research and thinks its ok to just let a fish go thats not native to a country
or the asians that do it because of there tradition which is how snakeheads originally got into the waters of the us

they are endangered. US rules state that no endangered animals are allowed (they are red listed). Funny thing is that even though they are endangered in the wild, they are bred commercially and there is an abundance of them, so wild stocks aren't being threatened as much anymore by collectors :screwy:

I think things like building codes and boating licenses are grandfathered to remain in the state of previous before the law. When possession becomes illegal it is illegal end of story. Think about cocaine, marijuana, and even alcohol. These things were legal at one time but it was a possession law that made them illegal. I may be wrong, but I believe there's a difference.

you are probably right. I just know of grandfather laws, not what is included in them :)
