HOLY CRAP! That's a great idea! Permits for endangered species. One must show proof of adequate holding facilities (say, 500g tank minimum) and pass a background check, pay some $$, and get a permit! That would be awesome!

and also tag the fish so they no what u have and how many so u dont sell and what not, and if u breed they gotta know about it and they can give u a list of people who pass that u can sell to, and make 10% of money from babys to go to restoring habbitat in wild

We are the exceptions in that we have the ability, resources, and knowledge to keep them. Unfortunately, laws are made for the masses.

Sad but true, most laws are made for the masses and sadly overall the masses don't always use the best judgment.
I'm lucky I live in Canada and many of the fish you guys can't keep we can but I feel for you. It would be great if there were permits you could get down there to allow responsible keepers to get the fish they like, they have permits for every thing else so why not give the honest guy a chance, making them illegal will not really stop them from getting into the hands of thous who are irresponsible just look at black market guns.
