Quarantine Tank
What would it take right now for you to simply say, "I give up, Im outta here!" to this hobby?

What if...

your most prized fish died?:(

you lost your job?:irked:

you came home and your biggest tank sprung a leak and emptied out?

your significant other accidentally killed your entire collection?

Would you start over? Take a break? Leave for awhile?

I'm addicted and I've got too much invested to quit.

I would keep at it do what ever it takes to keep going......FISH ARE AWSOME..:D:headbang2

If my most prized fish died, I would understand that **** happens and buy another unique/prized fish.

If I lost my job, I would cut back drastically on stocking and sell some tanks, but never leave the hobby.

If my biggest tank emptied, I'd leave the hobby for a few months until I wasn't pissed any more lol.

If someone killed my entire tank, I would send them a bill and buy more fish.:)

If the power went out all my fish would die, we are on well so no power no water. And spending $105 a week on water from a store is out of the question for water changes. So I would stop having fish for a long time.

Wow funny you should start this thread cuz I just lost my job , lost my favorite fish the retic stingray and i have to move (my apt was part of my job) and im not giving up ! Way too much money time and heart tied up in the hobby

I really dunno... I might prob kill myself if my prized fish died... or i would go insane...

Def leave the hobby...untill i get over it.. and find some new that i really like..

As for loosing my Job... It would just increase my time in the hobby.. Id prob start breeding fish as my new Job...:D

Sorry, hope everything works out....

I would be very pissed if any one of those things happened to me or all, but I'd never leave this hobby! Its just like a motor blowing up on you after you took all the time to build it, just take deep breaths count to 10, sometimes 20, and rebuild it and enjoy it even more. Lessons learned are there for a reason.
