yeah , i talked to the sender, he did check their schedule before sending it and made sure they could guarantee it for next day by noon (he told me if they couldn't he would have charged me a bit more to send it fedex). seems to be a nice guy and he wanted to work something out if the fish died. i just didnt' feel like talking about it yet until i know if they will be alive when they come in. it's my first time purchasing fish online. what a nightmare!!!
Yes it's happened to me, And did not have a live fish in the box.. If it was summer time there would be alot better chance for live arrival.. But i hope your fish are well! gl Don't let it sour you on shipping fish.. Because it comes with the Game... gl
Happened to me. Took two days to get to me. One bag had no water in it! Lucky for me it was an Umbie! I walked him back and forth in the tank he was alright. They have no clue the post office and they don't care.... Plus they told me I would have to wait 7 days before I could file a claim!
Keep calling them and have the shipper call them too.
Get in touch with your local office alert them and they will probably call you as soon as it comes in and you can pick it up.
Depending on the size of the fish and the way they were packaged u should be allright.
I wouldn't ship a pair of shoes through the Post Office....
Best of Luck..... Hope everything turns out OK.....
LOL. USPS isn't gonna buy you a new fish if its DOA. All they will do is refund the shipping money. They are not gonna be responsible for a live animal. It has happened to me. I got 43 bucks back and just got the guy another fish.

i assume you're talking about the vendor replacing the shipment?(this vendor does guarantee live arival).. my hope is the rays are ok and get here later on today. i did talk to the vendor but i didn't see the point of discussing about replacement until i know the condition of the rays when they get here.
Here in the sticks there is NO feasable possible way to get a garenteed overnight with USPS. All you get is a garenteed 2 day that "should" be there in one day......
Again, I'de definetley pay more for Fedex next time. I always have my fish in under 16 hours with them.......
I don't think location really has that much to do with it... They just don't have a clue..they really don't... I had them shipped to New York City and they still lost them! They can't track them till they are logged into a location. Until then your fish are in The Twilight Zone as far as they are concerned.
