What would you do if your fish shipment is delayed

for real? i understand the guarantee by USPS that they would just ship it for free basically. But as a buyer, i shouldnt' have to pay twice for something i'm getting once. i'm just glad i went out of the way and made sure i used my cc with paypal. just in case

LOL. USPS isn't gonna buy you a new fish if its DOA. All they will do is refund the shipping money. They are not gonna be responsible for a live animal. It has happened to me. I got 43 bucks back and just got the guy another fish.

Even if the vendor guarantees live arival they usually don't warrent against a postal mistake.

I have had this happen to me before. Fish were supposed to be shipped out on Th before noon for Friday or Saturday gaurantee delivery. My seller shipped it on Th later afternoon which is the same as a Friday morning shipment. I waited on Friday and Saturday but nothing. Sunday there is no delivery. The weather was about 50F and Monday morning the fish finally arrived alive but stressed. Two died within a week and the rest made it ok. I hope your shipment turn out better.

bean is talking about me-usps is ok till it starts getting cold- my first usps delivery was good and the second was a disaster-took 2 days to get to the lpo and i had to pickup. fortunately one of the pair lived so wasnt a total lost-good thing there was another male to replace the dead one-kewl BEANS!!!!

With usps it will say its still at the original shipping place untill it gets to you, they dont have updates and there tracking system is useless.... never use usps to ship fish. Fedex or airport to airport ONLY!!! I hope all goes well for you... let us know what happens

I have shipped Friday for a Saturday delivery, works every time

I don't think location really has that much to do with it... They just don't have a clue..they really don't... I had them shipped to New York City and they still lost them! They can't track them till they are logged into a location. Until then your fish are in The Twilight Zone as far as they are concerned.

It has a lot to do with location. I am 1 hour south of St. Louis where it is
quite rural. My mail goes all the way 2 hours south of me even if I am mailing
to St. Louis, which is north. So alot of times my mail takes 3-4 days to
reach St. Louis, where as if it went directly to St. Louis it would take 2 days.

Because if it's delayed, you might have to wait til Monday for the package, if it doesn't come Friday.
