its gona be awhile, i'm gona buy a car in march, and just keep the mustang as a weekend car i think, try and talk to the parents into it.

gas here is i believe 2.95-3.05 a gallon depending on the store..
 
Buy a diesel pickup. and get a loan. I have a diesel. And can take alot of mustangs.. Makes around 500hp and 800tq! Plus I can pull 15k or run a low 14 1/4 mile! I have fun playing with mustangs! well stock ones anyways. and get 17-24mpg!
 
yeah sucks here too.3 bucks or so.used to be able to go for a drive when you were bored and couldnt aford much.Well that just sucks now,thanks alot gas price raisers,lol.

Hmm, Ion Redline gets 29 MPG highway, if you drive nice.

no power stearing, no ac, stick, no airbags, ummmm think thats all.

I told them i'd pay for ac... but nooo.
its only a 3 speed... so its not like its hard to drive lol.
 
Well those are actually some strongly protective parental reasons :) At least they care :D

Power steering is not over rated... But is not really safer in my opinion ;than no power steering, in which is harder to over correct.... And is only really rough when not moving :D

Airbags are well in my opinion over rated.... but Maybe that is because mine have never deployed....

In my opinion a stick keeps you more focused on the task at hand... That task being on Driving.

Ac... Man you are 17 LOL who at that age ever cared about ac :D

you ever drive in the florida heat with no air? or you ever drive in the florida cold with no air O.o.. not very fun. Its either 100* outside, or its 30* theres no middle ground anymore :(.

only thing i dont like about the car is doing a u-turn in it. no power stearing and using the stick at the same time is fun lol.
