I also vote for staying in your current place and saving up.

If you move into a larger place, it sounds like you would continue to adopt/rescue more pets until you max out that space...then you will be back where you started.

To free up more space, downsize the number of creatures you are keeping, especially if you feel they are not getting the attention they deserve.

Thanks guys. Makes sense to save atm. Our place is small, but everything else I like about it. The neighborhood is nice and they always fix our stuff in a timely manner.

Use the extra money for rainy day fund and if that never happens put it towards retirement. Many younglings these days don't think about retirement ahead of time and before you know it BAM your 63 years old and you've got 100$ in your pocket and a big ol' bag of regrets. Don't live paycheck to paycheck. Also avoid interest at all costs. If you can afford to of course. Also solar panels. Buy them LITTLE by little. Like 60$ for a full 60watt solar kit with all the cableboxes and transisters and what not. Buy them a tiny bit at a time. Smooth slide right through the budget. You save so much money I don't even know why more haven't done it. My aunt bought her solar over the course of 5 years. She spent like 20bucks/month. Now it powers her whole house. And shes getting PAID for the extra electricity. She makes about 15$ a month loaning the city her excess electricity. It adds up ;). I already have a retirement savings account. I got it when I was 4 years old. Already have over 6g's inside. But I know better than to spend it.

Did not read any of the replies to this point. Have to consider your happyness and what it takes to get there. Income is not guarenteed you should be trying to save some money, while living within your means. Can't really tell you what to do though, maybe a little bigger place and a little less pets and clutter.

How's it feel to get life advice from someone still living with their parents?

At least the rest of us still living with our parents are of an age to have a job while putting ourselves through college. Lol. I play Biggles....if I don't, my E-Grams might "trollball" me! :/

*doesnt like the ice she has found beneath her...*
