WHAT WOULD YOU PUT WITH DATNOIDS?

ok i am getting a 3'' jardini the lfs has for $45 US. they have 3 to choose from and he said dont worry they will be there tomorrow.i am also gettinng a birchir the gold and black looking one sorry dont know the real name. i know this might be a stupid question but what about 2 jardini's with the dats. the birchir's i have i am plannibng on putting them in a 65 hex.

The bichir that's gold and black is the ornate bichir. 2 Jardinis with dats is a bad idea. Jardinis are very aggressive and two wouldn't work because they would constantly fight :nilly:
 
I have tried a variety of fish and they can co-exist with datnoid pretty well (except the ATF)

barramunda
snakehead (red, rainbow and obscura)
peacockbass (orino)
payara (red tail)
silver arowana
red tail gold arowana
green arowana
african tiger fish (ATF / vittarius)
discus (3" red melon)
angel fish
other type of datnoids
red tail catfish + tiger shovel nose (hybrid)
syno cat
frontosa (kigoma)
stingrays (motoro, reticulated and tiger)
pleco (sailfin, blue / green phantom, snowball, inspector)
silver dollar (red hook, black bar)

Just as long as the fish doesn't look like a feeder goldfish or minnow or not
small enough for the fish to swallow, then it should be fine ^^

and currently my datnoids are house with payara, silver arowana and silver dollar
 
well i have a jardini and it destroyed my aggressive electric blue jack dempsey. and my jack dempsey was twice the size. i think if you have a bunch of dats they will probably team up if the aro attack or bullies. so you should be fine with a jardini as a juevinille but when it gets bigger good luck. but you gotta get an aro there awesome
 
mine are in with a rtc, 2 pacu's, albino oscar, ebjd, jd, poly birchir, frontosa, gold nugget pleco, and now a jardini. but now i bought everything i needed for my 65 gallon hex. the rtc, oscar, pacus, ebjd, jd, and the frontosa are going in that. getting rid of the rtc, the pacu's, and maybe the front. anyone want them i'll take $15 for front or rtc, pacu's are free.
