If you were to keep dwarf puffers, only one would work, they are very aggressive.:grinyes:

Every dwarf puffer that Ive had was never that aggressive.

Anyways, i measured the tank and its actually around 4.5 gallons. its 13" x 9" x 9". Is there anything that i can keep with a betta?

in a 3 gallon tank?

I have an empty 3 gallon tank and i have no idea what i want to put in there.

Use the 3 gal as a spare change jar and save up for a decent size tank.

I have plenty of decent size tanks, i just wanted to try something smaller. It's an awsome little tank, it has metal trim and i just wanted to make something nice out of it.

how about african dwarf frogs with a female betta?

could i keep a paradise fish with a female betta? or some kind of small gourami?

You could possibly get away with a pair of paradise fish in your not-so-monster tank, just make sure you put a lid on that sucka as paradise fish have a tendency to jump.....so i have heard!!!:D A filter is not necessary with paradise fish (same gist a bettas) but would be preferred as a pair could be considered slight overcrowding in a 3-4 gallon tank......good luck bro!!!:D
