Whats the best Native U.S fish??

I would do sunnies,yellow perch,and crappies.goby can be pretty nice also.Why I did mention bass or pickeral is cuz the species above you could mix in some cichlids if u would like to.

I think you're going to have a very difficult time finding any American fish in Australia. Look around and see what's available, then we might be able to help you choose from your available species.

What? There are small American species? You must be referring to bait fish.

Seriously though I did a search for non-native freshwater fish in Australia and the only suitable species I found were sailfin mollies, American flagfish and mosquito fish, all the rest were a trout or salmon of some sort. I don't know their range in Australia or how easy they would be to find but I'm fairly certain you won't be able to find any of our game fish that the others have suggested.

What part of the US is she from? Do a biotope that represents the watershed of the area she is from...there is lots of diversity here
