What's The Best Way To Learn L Numbers?

I'm going to say the left one is an L018 but I, not sure about they grey spotted one, looking on PC now though, I'm thinking it's a Peckoltia species though.

Can I give a hint?

Instead of starting a new thread I figured ill just post them here, will be good practice for the OP.
Sorry for the dirty tank, needs to be cleaned and vacuum this weekend.
The two royals face to face pic is perfect way to tell the difference between these two L27.

Holy crap, that big one that in only in the 3rd pick just left of center is gorgeous! I wanna hear what kind it is! I love the royals myself
