 oii your crazy haha..

Yea mine was putting a 60g upstairs.........on a dresser... that bowed in, and seals failed lost the tank, not just loosing the tank, but cost an $8,000 beam in our house.(insurance helped a little bit, but we still had to pay alot)they had to pull up all my carpet, I had to take everything off my floor, had to sleep on the couch for a week because of the fans. ohhh guess where my 60g is?! Upppppstaiirsssss yet again !!! (dont worry i bought a new 60g the old 60g that the seals failed, is now my leopard geckos mansion)

yep my dreams of a 120 upstairs I think are going to remain in my dreams :grinno:

how is that tank doing?

Well I have a concrete slab on the first floor to put all my goodies on, and the new place I've scouted to move in to 6 months from now has a concrete slab foundation too, I made sure because I asked them and voiced my concern and the best part is my maintence man here where I live now has two fish tanks too and he doesn't tell on me that I have tanks and should pay more in rent for having animals because he likes to watch my 90 so much he has a 10 and a 30 hex. I'll have a 180 in here in a month or so and I'm not worried a bit seeing how I am sitting.

Tanks doing well...

My main worry right now is the stand, at times it creaks alittle during water changes!

might just be settling noises keep an eye make sure its plumb and level... if its not then you need to break the tank down and rebuild the stand...

my biggest risk is making the carpet damp... everything i got is on a concrete slab in the basement. im set lol

Be sure to dry it out, you wouldnt want any mold growing under there!

The floor its self could be the cause of the problem as well, some floor joists could of warped over time...

bump!
