What's the hardest fish to catch in an aquarium?

And if you do actually get'em up, they lodge their face spines (don't know the real name) in the net worst than plecos, and you either get stabbed or rip your net getting them out of it

I'd like to see that. I thought I got soaked catching my 13.5" Dovii....a 20 Pacu would be like you went swimming.

My old Rainbow Shark was a nightmare to catch, he was far faster than my eye could follow.

My female JD is pretty fast and smart but the males are pushovers and just sit there while you net them. Maybe it depends on the individual fish or maybe females are smarter.....

I never thought cl's were that bad, blue botia are harder since they burrow so well.

Bryconops are the toughest imo.....lightning fast.

Sometimes the hardest fish to catch is the one that you want to catch as after missing it twice it seems to know that you are after it & hides behind its tank-mates and the heater and the filter and the drift wood etc etc etc.
In a heavily wooded tank I turn the lights out, take the lids off & then try an hour afterwards with a net and a torch to catch one fish out for a show etc.
