Last summer at 4am I got up to close the window as my room was getting cold I was half asleep and near the window I could see this black thing on the floor so I just simply picked it up and threw it out the window . It wasn't until late morning I realised it was my red tail shark

i grabbed a clam oyster thing from the creek in my woods and put it in my small tank and it was doing fine eating and then i came home and its insides were floating on the surface, smelled terrible so i got it out of there

had the same issue. Had a pair of really nice little orange pikes growing out well. One of the bigger fish knocked the bottom of the intake off, the the strainer was no longer attached. On of the PIke swam up the intake and got stuck where it turn at the top of the intake. Looks like he got snapped.

My baby Giant gourami swallowed a cat fish that open up and stuck it's spines in the gill's of the gourami the gourami died with the cat fish hinging half way out of his mouth and the cat also died hinging on to the gill's I put them in to alcohol so they can spend eternity together

my catfish got caught by my crawdad and he got half eaten (sort of)
i hit my crawdad with my net out of fustration and the cat kept trying to swim for the next 5 hours and then died

Wasnt a fish - but my sisters friend destroyed my gunea pig when i was a child.
Picked it up, shook it, squeezed it and the proceed to throw it in the air when she realised it was bleeding on her.
Poor little guy

I forgot to plug in my air pump and killed over 20 fish over night in my 180:( That was a month ago. Geo's, F0 Uaru, F1 sev's, A few little Nic's and some other random fish. Still makes me sick to my stomach. Now I have a second air pump on a timer so it will never happen again.

When I was just starting out....

You know the plastic covers on cd's when you buy like 100 blank discs?? You know the large plastic "log" decor for your tank?

Well.... I put the plastic transparent CD case over the top hole of the log with some other structure on top of that.. I forget what, but anyway....
2 of my gourami's a gold and a blue chased each other into the clear plastic cylinder and couldnt find their way out.. I assume the suffocated do to lack of water circulation within the cylinder. They couldve just swam back down through the "root" in the "log" but couldnt figure it out I guess...
Stupid Me!!
Stupid Gourami's!!
