Yeah. The thing got him good though. Ive been bitten twice by gators. Once on my forearm when I slipped trying to grab one, and once on the upper leg when I got careless handling one and moved it too close to my body. Both times the perpetrator was between 2.5-4 feet, and thankfully neither bite required stitches, or even bled too much. But that little 2 footer did like 10 times as much damage as I experienced because the guy tried to rip it off when it bit him. Id be surprised if that guy didn't need stitches, he was dripping blood all over the parking lot on the way to his car.
WOAH! I have the same story :o This girl bit my nipple for no reason and out of surprise and pain I jumped back. I didn't bleed.. but it hurt so much...

Sorry for that being sooooo unrelated.. But at this one petstore nearby (just closed down) They kept 2 4-6ft RTB's in an oddly sized tank, but it was no more than 2'x2'x1' Probably less :/

And they had the 3 or 4 sidenecks in a 20g and I think there was also a RES too

It was 1 side neck and 3 RES

A while back a customer called the store and asked if we could take two leos. when she brought them in one was the picture of health, the other however was the most emaciated lizard I have ever seen in person. Apparently they were being kept together and one bullied the other and got the lion's share of food. Despite separating the two and attempting to feed the skinny one with an eyedropper it died a few days later.

Okay, we all know the world is full of idiots but some are beyond comprehension. Post stories, pictures, or videos of those who could easily win the Darwin awards of pet keeping. To start this thread off, here is a video and a story:

This guy is housing a mata mata, a fly river turtle, an alligator snapper, a sideneck turtle of some sort, and a bunch of non-compatible fish in the same aquarium. It must be nice to have that kind of money to essentially throw away.

Next up is an idiot that sent me a video (but his whole channel was deleted probably after a flood of hate mail) of him milking a cottonmouth with no reason at all. That is not even the bad part. He did not have anything required to keep venomous. He used salad tongs- SALAD TONGS- to hold the snake and kept it in an aquarium without so much as a basking platform and a standard aquarium hood that I am pretty sure an anole could escape from.
Link to another forum post referring to the video he sent us:

What are your stories? we all know at least one...

Edit: Let's try to avoid stories of blatant animal neglect or abuse to prevent emotions from running too hot. We all know those stories too unfortunately but let's keep this thread more lighthearted than that.
Wicked Setup! :j/k::j/k:
