Or the standard BMW look. The ring of light around the headlight.
Also Devil Eyes are the LED strip above/below the light like on Audis...

Now those are some nice looking lights, never heard that term though.soulpatch;4427528; said:Also Devil Eyes are the LED strip above/below the light like on Audis...

I agree it really helps especially with fog, halogens just bounce the light back at you in fog conditions. Consumer's Reports and other's are pushing them now as a safer kind of light because of reason's like this. Also I was talking about a professional installation that's why we thought of different prices.soulpatch;4427517; said:HIDs are cheaper then that if you look online through reputable guys like DDM Tuning when they have their sales. I pay $40 a side for light, ballast, and needed wiring.
Though you said you have halos and that drives up the cost...
Not just from the look of things but HIDs really are a HUGE benefit to seeing the road. it is like daylight out there when you have em.
check on ebay there are kits everywhere with names like that. Angel Eye's/Devil's Eyes you can even get the rings around the lights in different color red/green/blue/purple. It looks pretty hot. Though as said I hate the kits scary how much work you have to do. You got to cook your light to loosen the silicone then drilling and wiring it's a real mess I hated doing it I even bought a second pair of lights thinking I'd ruin my stock ones.krichardson;4427546; said:Now those are some nice looking lights, never heard that term though.
I personally have never been blinded unless someone was tail-gating. Also as I said the car manufacturers, insurance companies and the government have decided it's helpful safety wise. I think it's a general consensus they just make driving safer by the powers that be.Shouldn't judge so harshly either it is said let those without sin cast the first stone. Lol! We are all guilty of doing things out of vanity despite consequences.knifegill;4427549; said:Things were fine without these dangerous lights. How can you justify blinding other drivers for your own sake? Safety should be for everyone, not just yourself.

That's it..Most of the cars that are puttering around with these fancy lights are almost ten years old.soulpatch;4427717; said:The issue you have with them being so blinding is poeple improperly aiming them and putting them in headlight housings meant for halogens. If you see a newer car most of the time they have HIDs from the factory and those are both installed and aimed correctly hence not blinding.
