Whats Wrong, And How Can I Help,

As Far as i can recall.. The Pin Pictus and The Channel Cats are the only losses that had clouded eyes...

the rest were normal via inspection,

if that is the cause, does anyone know WHAT it is and what causes it, and how to stop it?

i just lost all my favorite fish... and they were all going into the pond :(
 
If the fish was dead for a while, it is normal to have clouded eyes. Cloudy eyes in live fish is an indication of bacterial infections and also fungus. The open mouth is significant but I do not remember what causes it. Contact Oddball (you can find him in the health and disease section). He is really good with strange things like this. I am sure he will know what the open mouth trait is caused by.
 
the catfish with clouded eyes had been dead for a while before i noticed they were dead.. so thats probaly the cause,

i will try to PM Oddball about the open Mouths on them all...

i need to figure out what this is so my other fish dont die, and i can restock later without more losses
 
u mentioned a half digested guppy? did all the fish u had that died eat the guppies...they may have been diseased...be careful in the future with live food and especially be skeptical of the place u bought them
 
About 3 weeks is the last time i baught guppies.. they have been living in a heavily filterd 20 gallon being fed good tropical flakes..

each day if there are any dead. i take them out. and i change some water,

it cant be the guppies can it!?
and if it is.. why arent the puffers or the Hujeta sick/dead since they eat/ate the majority of the guppies..
 
Are all the fish in the same tank?

catfish are ussualy the first to go when something wrong with the tank
no more feeders feeders carry all sorts of nastys to harm your fish
if the guppies were dieing ask why?
