some fish are more suseptable to some diseases than others. u'r puffers and hujeta's may have been able to fight it off easier. think of it as something like the bird flu. birds get it but it rarely affects humans. this might or might not be it. but it's something to look into

two different tanks. tho they share the same water/filter/heater ect..

feeders should be on different system
feeders live in poor conditions before they reach you need to be quarentined
before fed to your fish

catfish are ussualy the first to go when something wrong with the tank
no more feeders feeders carry all sorts of nastys to harm your fish
if the guppies were dieing ask why?

Not a large ammt of guppies died.. just a couple. could be from age, or sickness. that IS why they are quarintined is it not?? so i can feed them???

Update- The Albino Walking Catfish is now DEAD
no bloating on him. no discoloration eyes are not cloudy,
only trait is the wide open mouth... same as the others.

I think wide open mouth is a symptom of oxygen deprivation. That happend to a tank full of fish in my 75. All died with w/o mouths. But, that is weird b/c your other fish are still alive. The fish that died in my tank were a tsn, pbass and a channel cat, so it wasnt that they were "delicate fish" either.

how r the gills? are they stretched wide open or discolored or anything out of the ordinary? it's not a resporitory thing is it?

gills are closed, mouth wide open,,

Getting back to basics.
PH test and levels?
Ammonia test and levels?
Nitrite test and levels?

At a guess I would say you have an extremely low ph and or High ammonia and or high nitrite levels.

Please test and advise.
