spinosaurus fed mostly on elasmobranchians who were not armored. Placodermi where lomg extinct as Spinosaurus lived. Charca. was bigger than T rex and most likely even bigger than Giganotosaurus. Weight is estimated up till 13 tons. And yes, evry fall could be lethal for a dinosaur.

Just curious, but what was the (estimated) average wind speed back then in the area where Spinosaurus lived?
i never said they were primarily scavangers. i said they would not miss an easy meal. also charcarodontosaurus teeth did not crush. they were sharp and he used his jaws not to crush but like an axe.
I personally don't know not sure anybody would know? Why do you ask? I'm assuming a point but not sure what your implying?
I just thought about how having a huge sail could pose a problem if there was a sudden powerful gust of wind.
Until there's something better than what we got now, then we should stick with what we got.

thats another negative factor, jn a storm or with current while swimming Spino would haberoblems to hold its path
Okay, I'll take back the primarily scavengers part still the jaw structure even in what your saying hear is essentially like a bear trap correct? Cause an axe is one sided and everybody knows only the bottom part of a jaw actually moves so it couldn't be like an axe. A bear trap snaps shut with great force and crushes as well as cuts, which is what I was trying to say by comparing them to Hyenas. Possibly a poor example as I assumed you understood how their jaws work. In either case that makes the Carcharodon. no more dangerous than what I said previously. So what's the point of saying it's axe like? By comparing it to a hyenas jaws I was giving Carcharodon a huge compliment as Hyenas have pound for pound the greatest bite force of any modern day animal and sharp teeth to boot. So in what way does you trying to refute my comparison help your case?
Chara was only a slightly LONGER than a Trex but Trex was heavier than both Charac and Giganto..you can tell it by look at their skeletons, clearly Trex was heavier than both theropods. Elasmobranchians weren't only fishes in that time. Mawsonia, a giant fish that lived in same time of Spinosaurus. Also I am not talking placodermi at all but few species of armoured fish that were found in Spinosaurus' areas.
