What's your favorite Parachromis species?

i try to go for pure beuty and the most beutiful fish of this family is a tie between a jag and red tiger moto.

Me either. I'm stuck in the hospital until tomorrow sometime. Can't wait to get home and re-arrange my fish so I've got a safe tank to put my motags in until they grow out a bit. One it's done it's off to the store to pick them up.

Man, this is an unfair question. From what I have owned / experienced (Jags, Loisellei, andMota) I have to say the Mota: Coloration,Size,Aggression. Only followed by the Dovii (reason being I kept the Motas over a year now and I just got tthe Doviis).

But I have a favortism towards the Doviis and the Freddies (the only parachromis I have yet to own, but I will).

It's a tough question for sure. All Parachromis rock. I don't think you would be unhappy with any parachromis species in your tank. Thanks for participating.

I would vote Managuense

I Love me Wild Male Dovii! =D hahahah i just got him yesterday and already love him...still didn't see him eat yet though but its probably still acclimating to the new environment. Now I would really love to get a pair of Wild Red Tiger Motaguenses =) those look really nice!

lol the only thing they've got going for them compared to the other parachromis is that they tend to stay smaller and be less agro but thats usually what most of the parachromis guys are into. I wouldn't mind owning one for the right price but it would probably have to be a impulse buy.
don't judge till you have owned one

My old friend ernie 14in jag nothing like him.Out of the way to many fish ive had that one is all everyone remembers he made a presence which you could not ignore.
