What's your favorite Parachromis species?

I obviously pick Dovii lol, I love them all though.
The La Ceiba I have is a close second though!!

The down side is my 18" male made it impossible to keep another fish in my 240 with him.

My old friend ernie 14in jag nothing like him.Out of the way to many fish ive had that one is all everyone remembers he made a presence which you could not ignore.

You could say that about Green Terra's jag. It's a presence that leaves a lasting impression.

Just based on the sheer volume of the adult species I own...have to be Managuense. I have seven of them. LOL

There's no way I could pick a favorite Parachromis. They're all tied for first as far as I'm concerned. I can however pick a favorite specimen of all the Parachromis I've kept (all but the dovii). That would be my now deceased big jag, Tiny. Fifteen inches of majestic badassedness.

I cant't make a choice. In a 180 gallons aquarium I have a Parachromis Dovii pair and a wild Parachromis Managuensis pair from La Ceiba. Both are breeding pair, and just in the middle of the aquarium, there is a Red Devil (Amphilophus Labiatus)
I love Dovii for their agressivity, but I love Managuense because the male I own is the more beautifull fish I ever owned

my favourite would have to be parachromis friedrichsthalii, i miss my freddy wish he was still around, loved his marking they were awesome

Jaguars are my favorite. Large size with beautiful colors and patterns. Not to mention the personality and attitude they can display. All around great fish.
