Whats your current filtration setup? Whats your next filtration upgrade?

I plan on putting a second FX5 on my 240g next week.

FX5 and a couple of XP3's , going to replace the XP3's with a wet dry set up.
I've have to bite the bullet and overcome my fear of water everywhere......

Setup properly there should be no chance of water leaking from a wet dry. Just takes some planning and research.

it is used by wastewater treatment plants

its a slow flow bio filter...no oxygen.

you feed tiny amounts of usable bio carbon in the form of ethyl alcohol, methanol etc....the bacteria eat the carbon and nitrates releasing nitrogen gas....removing the nitrates from the water

its a diy unless you want a commercial unit for a wastewatwer treatment plant....covered in the following text book....

whenever i get my new tank (125 or bigger) it will be an appropriate wet dry and then a few sponge filters of various sizes for the rest of my tanks in my fish room.
