just be careful of what pics you post in certain states

nobody is going to come knocking on your door with a badge looking for an illegal fish because you posted a picture on a forum. plus there is ways around it like a disclamier.

People who want these rare fish are going to pay big money for them either way.

People who want these types of rare fish aren't stupid and aren't going to release them.

We sell Pacus, Pangasius, RTCs, Aros, TSNs, and CK's by the thousands every year. They are more likely to be dumped than a RTG, Snakehead, or Black Ray.

Yes, yes and yes.

Irresponsible hobbyists are the cause of severe limitations such as banning, are disgraceful and are a bane in the hobby. Banning of certain species will not be lifted with so many irresponsible hobbyists around.

My view? Concern is my game. People who keep fish that are illegal unless you have permits or are banned ended up in jail when this could have been avoided had they not try to keep one for sheer pleasure. Fish that are illegal or banned when found by authorities will always end up destroyed upon consficated when this can be avoided had the hobbyist decided not to try smuggling it under the authorities' nose.

Might I add the US fish and Wildlife as well as State fish and game commissions DO monitor and watch these sites..The internet has become thee number 1 problem regarding the Illegal importation and sale of Trafficked and Illegal animals...I would not be so stupid as to think you are not being watched and notes are not being taken.

From a wildlife Law perspective: The number of people here that have total disdain and or apathy for Federal and state wildlife laws may as well be sending up a bright red flare saying "HEY LOOK AT ME"..."I'M RIGHT HERE"

Unlike the suggestion mentioned awhile back of wildlife laws being "Gray" they are not..They are very much Black and white. Illegal activity is nothing but illegal activity... there is no "Gray" about it.

all the really good fish are all noxious in aus!! so yeh i dont care! i will own an illegal species if i ca get hold of em!

Love them

Hate them

Don't care

.....

Well I would love them if they housed these fish properly.

I would hate them if they did not know how to care for these fish properly.

So I would vote Love them ONLY IF they housed them properly with sufficient care.

Next to drugs and weapons, the animal blackmarket is the highest negative trafficing issue in the world. If you are buying an illegal fish (Whether endangered or just prohibited due to it's nature), you are directly adding to that problem.

Actually, human trafficing is at a really bad level, too. Well, I guess one human would make it a bad level, but you know what I mean.
