My female Dovii is ~4" long. She only comes out for me when she's hungry, after she's been fed or is just cruising the tank if I walk up she immediately hides. When do these dovii's get their mean streak, well at least when do they stop being so shy lol. She's started to get her pearly whites so I thought that would have something to do with it but nothing has changed. Any ideas or suggestions on getting her to be more comfortable in the presence of people.
The pics below show her pretty teeth and her favorite hiding spot. The tank has fake plants, lots of hiding spots for some of the catfish in the tank, and floating plants to give an added sense of security but nothing seems to work.
