like someone said before, this is about the setup not religion. i just dont like people bashing something that they have no clue about. that would be like me calling black ppl racial slurs because a member of a crip murdered an innocent kid in a drive by shooting. now that would be racist right? your doing the same thing here

I never once assumed I knew the financial state of the church, nor do I care enough to "bash" it. All I know is that they just put a s*** load of money into a fish tank, at least I'm ASSUMING they spent money on this tank (if I'm wrong then please correct me). Now, this money could have gone to other things that the church claims to support, such as the sick and needy. Call me a heathen, but to me, I would have much rather seen the church spend that kind of money towards something a little more pro-active.

when you can find me the article and paragraph in the christian handbook that says any church is supposed to give their money away, i will stop arguing with you. otherwise your statements are pointless. people tithe and give offering for the church. not to give away.

okay dude, whatever you say. In fact, lets make sure every church has enough disposable income to construct a roller coaster in the lobby as well, I mean, there are no rules against blowing cash on that right??

Heyall, when you can find me the article and paragraph in the christian handbook that says any church is supposed to collect money for a giant fish tank or other luxeries I will acknowledge that your arguement is justified. Anyways on to the tank I agree that they should of gone freshwater, there are some low light plants that could grow well in that. It would look way nicer imo, could have multiple giant schools of tetras in there.
