my histrix doesnt attack is mates and some are small for her to kill.
she just pass over .and she gets live food as a treat.

the reason your ray attacks tank mates is right in your post

if you give it live feeders then how does the ray know what you have put in as food and what is a tank mate rays are smart but not that smart

any fish thats kept in the mid water of a ray tank wont last forever its just how long it will last

dont know if you are refering to me or not but i actually only feed pellets and freeze dried shrimp to my ray and aro.

you are correct but i must be lucky .
the small tank mates are clownloches to fast for her, 2 banjo catfish to spicy,a small britlenose pleco .but she is getting more active each day.
she only gets live food 1 our 2 days in 7.mostly frogs and small fish.
is main corse is frozen shrimp and dry pellets,lance fish, mussels and all the fish that i take from wife frezzer
