I think he just likes the attention.

Its sad to know that in a few weeks, he'll post a thread about his dead mangrove...or better yet...he'll post a thread about a new reptile that he will be housing in the same dirty 55 with the same potting soil. Its just a matter of time.

Guys, give it up. He is like majority of the herptile keepers. he will just think "AW! AWESOME DUDE!" like the kids that get piranhas and bulldogs and then he will grow up and realize it was a bad phase. There is not a whole lot we can do until the Humane Society actually recognize herptiles and fish as mistreated animals.

ok u seriously need to stop trying to flame...dougie:ROFL:

I'm not trying to flame at all. You leaving a live rodent in with your reptile can cause serious damage, and if the rodent is big enough, even death. It wasn't a smart move. Just trying to give you advice which you seem to not care about at all.

Yea he can't be too happy in there. Didn't you say you were keeping your nile in a 75 gallon?? Why don't you just put the mangrove in there?? And seriously LC you really need to get your herps off of that potting soil........

Potting soil? Hello?

If you don't want to spend any money, even newspaper would be better.

You can get a brick of Eco-Earth for less than $5 at petsmart. For the love of all things holy, please ditch the potting soil.
