which canister filter??

thanks everyone for the suggestions and thoughts. Yes I will only ever just have the two midevils in the tank i might one day try to add two big convicts but i don't see it happening . I realize that the two ac110 may be enough to support the two devils but i want a extra filter and a canister just so it adds more flow and more filtration never hurts either . i have my mind set on the fx5 because its only about 70-100 dollars more than the cf500 or xp3 . So why not ..

As I mentioned before an FX5 is overkilling that setup but on the other hand if you get it for a good price then that would be a good pickup and a nice addition, nevertheless I dont see how an FX5 can cost only 70-100 USD more than a CF500. CF 500 should be around 140 uds, you can get the very same canister under the Sun sun brand cheaper, around 110 uds while I've seen FX5 ranging from 280 up to 400+.

So I dont see it is worth to spend close to 200 bucks more to get an FX5 simply because you wouldnt get anything that you coulndt get from the HW304/CF500, you wouldnt really notice a difference, specially if you keep the two AC110 running.

wow that's a good price for the sunsun . My question i know it looks like the same filter and if it is why the difference in price i have researched the heck out of the cf500uv the cheapest i seen was big als for 129.99 but all thier aquatops are out of stock amazon has it for 159.99 i can get the fx5 for 219.99 but there is tax so that's where i get the 70 to 100 guesstimate the 100 would be if i bought a xp3 for 116 or so cheapest i found again . i will look in to the sun sun but really kind of Leary about the same filters under different names and the quality . here is 4 i found Aquatop, grech, perfect, sunsun, also i would need two just to get almost the same filtering quality of fx5 and at 100 each almost the same as the fx5 .

Sunsun is actually the one who produces those filters, Aquatop is a dealer who buys the Items and then re sell them with their own brand, Aquatop.
Really it is the same, I bought a CF400 just to soon realize sunsun has them cheaper, so I decided to buy another one under Sunsun, -HW303- and it is E-X-A-C-T-L-Y the same Item.
For me, the only can I don't hate doing maintenance on are the Renas so they would get my vote.
I also own 2 SunSun 304b(same as AT500). Decent filter, but I prefer my Renas.

2 ac110s on a 135 is plenty unless you feel the need to fit into the mfk lifestyle
