which of these piranha would u get nd y?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Although I think the elongatus has the most impressive set of choppers.....Serrasalmus Rhombeus their size and black coloration is just way to impressive.

Hi.

I'd rather a shoal of RBP, I think a big thank with a shoal gives you much more fun that a big tank with a single fish, but thats me.

Cheers.

i agree. i think a shoal is alot more entertaining then a young rhom, if you have the money to get a 10 inch plus rhhom and a big tank then i would get a rhom. my 10 inch blue diamond rhom is one word "amazing" :headbang2

what size tank are you getting or do you have?

If your looking excitement go with a shoal.. If you want a show piece go with a serra.. And screw a red belly shoal, get caribe or piraya

:iagree: but if you can get wild reds, that's a bit different than the captive bred ones.

Both are amazing fish for sure, but I would have to go with the black rhom for sure if it was me

ok ive decided its either going to be a diamond gold piranha or a regular black rhom. lets work with that. any suggestions from these two?

I've owned 2 gold diamond rhoms, a 3" and a 7" from AS I was not impressed with either, although they look cool, every black rhom and black diamond rhom I own and have owned has had a much better personality and higher aggressiveness. The gold diamonds I had were almost docile. What's strange is that most people will say they have the same temperment as the black ones, but from my experience with the ones I had I don't find this to be true at all. I really recommend you get a black or black diamond, anywhere from 3-7" preferably a little towards a bigger size if you can afford that because they grow slow.
