Piraya Piraya wow that is one red hot chilli peppers manueli. Do you feed it only fish fillet ?

Hi!

I'm sorry I haven't written for so long but I lacked time. A lot has happened in the meantime.

My manual had a serious fungal and bacterial infection, luckily I was able to cure it with baths in potassium permanganate and an antibiotic.

From that moment my manueli gained a huge appetite and became a greedy eater!

My Vallineria plants killed all other plants in the aquarium so I'm now in the process of removing them from the tank and for some time I have not turned on the light.

When I manage to get rid of all Vallineria plants, I will plant other plants in the aquarium and start lighting the aquarium again.

Red Aimara, beautiful manny, congrats!

I add a picture in which you can see my manueli's bath in KMnO4 and one taken today, the colors are poor because the light in the aquarium is off, I will try to take better pictures later.

Sorry to hear about your manny’s woes and super glad that it has fully recovered. At about 9 inches...is it easy to scoop it out into the quarantine tank?

I feed my piranha with frozen whole fish, it's much healthier like fillets. After curing that disease, my manueli became a heavy eater. When I give my piranha 4 smelts with a tweezer, my manny often pulls it out of the tweezers and eats all 4 fish at once, I have to record a movie :)

Any tips on keeping Mannie? Should I be using vitamins to start with? Treat for ip??

I always soak food in vitamins and garlic. If the fish is thin and has a poor appetite then it is worth giving medicines for parasite, I recommend Sera Protazol and Sera Tremazol. My manueli was a picky eater for a long time and after healing that infection it became a heavy eater and eats a lot now.
