fishgonewild, i'm not sure if you posted the wrong pic or not, but this is a palmas polli.

fishgonewild, that palmas palmas appears to be a palmas buettikoferi....might just look like one since i havent checked ray count or anything, but it looks like one to me.

as fishgonewild said, his is definitely a palmas palmas. it is true palmas palmas and palmas buettikoferi has the same body shape and same number of dorsal finlets making them hard to tell apart using those features, but their side and dorsal patterns are very different. so you can readily tell them apart using this in most cases.

Yeah dude, that pic is definitely palmas polli because that spraybar is from your big tank, and you were keeping the beutt's in the 20g

Yes and no. Commonly, yes, but you can find specimens of each species with a lot more green than usual.
