white bass

Ha ha ha ha, I cant blame him, my Russian friend who eats them is going to rue the day I learn how to cook Carp properly....he just Salts them and lets them dry in the sun.....I just cant bring myself to eat them like that!

throw them in the smoker...i am just going to be feeding them to my fish...smoked redhorse is amazing...

as to the white bass...i geuss i am the only one who has them in a tank...i will post an update thread in a while as it is doing great and started eatting market shrimp...

Ive heard about using a smoker....what about the bones?

Ive heard about using a smoker....what about the bones?

the flesh just falls off the bones...i just gut and dehead/gill them and smoke them...after they are done i peel the skin off and pick the flesh out and pick through the bones...they have very large bones so it isn't hard, like a smoked trout/salmon...

damn...now i am hungry...i'll have to get some red horse this weekend...

mine eats prawn and some feeders...it is kept with a florida gar, silver arowana, 2 peacock bass, a clown knife, 3 sen bichirs, an angelfish, a common pleco, a lima cat, a jurunese cat and i have dats and more bichirs to add when they wont get eatten...
