who cares if its IT or ST

i have seen so many threads saying ID this tiger

WHO cares if you like the fish does it really matter IT or ST

if people are going to vote they don't care then why so many ID this tiger threads

you can put a very nice stable 3 bar IT in 1 tank with a price tag of $100 and the same size unstable forked broken bar blind ST in the tank next door with a $400 price tag and people will still buy the ST this makes no sence to me

you have to remember 1 thing that most of the ST in the hobby right now have been passed around from keeper to keeper for some reason or another (aggressive attacks other fish unstable blind )

All Datnoids are monster but number one issue for me is STABILITY!!!

Doesn't really matter to me. Like Jer, I just want stability. And also nice lines and necklaces. As for people wanting to know what they have, I can understand. Rarity can be fun for bragging rights, but also, if they were to buy it as a ST and end up with an IT, that would kind of suck. But that goes back to DO YOUR RESEARCH!

look at it this way if you buy a tiger thinking its a ST and it turns out to be IT does that change the fact that you liked the fish enough to buy it in the 1st place

i voted i dont care, personally. but i can see why some people do care. some folks like the thought of having a true ST because its something rare and not easy to come by. gimme a nice 3 bar IT and id be happy.

but you also gotta see the other side of it. its kinda like saying, why all the fuss about a real Coach purse when you can buy a counterfeit for much less??? to some, fake isnt good enough, they need the real thing. same with fish.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. MONEY MAKES THE FISH WORLD GO 'ROUND

as Ben said, its all about the money. if the fish is just as nice, who cares. but when you paid a couple hundred bucks more thinking you were getting the real thing and you dont, then of course you gotta be pissed. its all about labels and names and flaunting with certain fishkeepers

If i was buying a datnoid, as an IT, and it turned out to be ST, i would be elated, because i would have made alot of money.

I personally wouldn't care one way or another if they both cost the same, but since the ST is worth so much more, i voted yes.

I would rather buy a 3 bar stable IT. Only cause I finally got my ST and it would cost a lot less.
