I think its like buyng a RTG arrowana, you will look at it and its a stunning fish but you will allways want the ultimate so if it were me id just get an ST its WELL worth it they are stunning and 100% stable all the time!

i have seen the same thing with Asian aros even here in the UK were they are available

i have seen people buy stunted drop eye broken barbeled super red just because they are a super red

it seams to me its different with fish than any other animal people will buy a damaged fish but they wouldn't buy a 3 legged dog or cat even if they are rare

I personally wouldnt buy any damaged fish no matter how rare it was

I think we see soo many ID threads because people know there are different types of dats out there and they just want to be sure on what they have or are contemplating.I purchased my first dat back in 92 and I didnt realize that there were soo many different types untill a few years ago after joining here.I will never be one of those who buys a fish just because it is rare but a lot of what I like happens to be rare and notvery easy to come by,I cant help what I like and most of my indos have been unstable most of the time.That is not the case with most ST's.

everyone knows ST's are worth more. simple as that.
