Who catches there own fish at a LFS?

I have since one of my purchases met an unfortunate end at the hands of an employee I like to call "bulldozer arm".

I catch my own fish because I want to select the fishes that aren't sick or disfigured. But one time when I catch a fish in a LFS and brought it home, I noticed that he has a missing fin. Looks can sometimes be decieving.

i catch alot of myfish in the wild, i have once helped an employee net out a large aussie bass form a 5' tank with heaps of decor and other fish

I wish they would just let me...they drive me nuts watching them, I just want to knock em outta the way and say GIVE ME THE STUPID NET!!!

They normally don't at the chain stores, but they made an exception once when I made some girl cry because she used the wrong net and got a pictus' barbel stuck in it. After she came close to killing it I told her to move the hell over so I could fix her mess up. She did, but went and got the manager. At my LFS, I normally do though.

I work at petsmart and net all the fish i buy haha. I dont let customers do it, im a good netter, and let the cust. choose.
