who do yall keep yalls tanks crystal clear

While it probably is algae, I was also wondering how green we're talking here. Most tanks have high iron glass which gives a slightly green tint. Perhaps since the tank is so small and the panels of glass are much closer to each other it could appear somewhat more green than a large tank might. Just a thought.

i aim to filter the tank so that each tank turns over 7Xs an hour

A lot of people here seem to be mentioning oversizing filters. That might be why my tanks are always crystal clear, even when I know they should be polluted all to hell. I use a Cascade filter on my 29 gal. that's meant for a 100 gal. tank, and I love it.

I also found that when I had my FW tank and I switched from standard light to a "plant" light, my water looked even clearer because of the shade of light I guess.

I run an A.C 70 on all my 10's with great success....
