I love my family, my dad and brother always ammuse me. Plus I write music with my brother, so we're pretty close. But I understand the step-mother part. That has to suck.

I have to agree with this..

My aunt-thing came for thanksgiving... she took her 3yo grandson into our back yard and fed my pond fish(too cold for them to eat...) without asking, they left the 2lb bucket of food open, so the dogs ate all $30 worth of it.

The grandson and his mom went out in our yard and took my neice's barbie-jeep thing and drove in into our gardens, hit the fence and ran over a few piles of crap.. without asking.

My cousins; Angelica(12) is nuts, she sleeps around, does any kind of crap she can gets her hands on, and said she was going to rape me.
My 2 male cousins are ok, one of them is stuck up as heck though, so I normally end up punching him.
Drew and whats-her-name are such friggin idiots, when my neice was about 6months old he farted on her(I'm serious), I beat the living s*** out of him.

my aunt and uncle that live in Ohio are weird.. I can't go in their house without being told how many things God wouldn't like about me, and how I should go to their church.
AND they have a badly kept fishtank.

Oh, and my older bro gets drunk and chases me with his mace or swords, but that's ok.
I have more family issues I could go on about lol but I don't have time.

Sorry Bettagurl, bu that kinda made me laugh. You definitely have an odd family. the mention of the "aunt-thing" and "whats-her-name" cracked me up. I wouldn't be able to stand them either.

You guys are missing out. I visit my family once a month. I did have it hard growing up. We had only 3 snowmobiles, and there were 4 of us. Only 2 jet skis. I didn't get my first car until I got my drivers license. I didn't get my own bathroom until I was 13. LOL

I live with my family....They pay for my rent as long as I pass in school...I'm 27 btw....I do not complaon...I have a basement all to myself for me and my hobby....

I really didn't like socializing with my family that much. Thought it was boring and a complete waste of time. Sure wish I still had some family left to be bored by.

I never used to like to hang out with the family and all, but since growing up and starting a family of my own I have come to realize that family is so important. Now, I can't stand to spend every waking moment with them but alot of time I really enjoy my family.

well, 70% of the replies where more amusing than i expected

but i told them on ...uhh. i think tuesday that i was moving out on my birthday and they hit the cieling! had about 3 hours of yelling and screaming and when they couldnt make me yell and scream back (i talked to them normal the whole time) it got them even more POed. then they gave their terms of surrender and i told them id stay till i leave for the Marines. they've been nice to me ever since... and actually helped me with some school stuff
