we aren't monsterfishkeepers because of how big our fish grow or how big our tanks are, but it is because of our obsession of fish, which is monstrous and thus we all with such obsession are monsterfishkeepers

Thats ho I think of it. If your fish is a monster TO YOU, from Gambusia to Pirarucu, you are a monsterfishkeeper. Or ppl like me who currently have nothing to put in the tank setup tab but love fish, you are a monsterfishkeeper.

To be honest, im offended by this thread, my biggest is a 55gal..seriously.

Me too, since the tank I'm planning to get is a 30 gal.

Well, thats another way to percieve monsterfishkeepers, i agree mate....So, this still encompasses EVERY member of MFK...no matter on tank or fish size...

People have every right to be here and post, no matter what size tank they have...I only have a 90 gallon...by all accounts, i am not a monster fish keeper...

There is nothing to be offended about... that is just one persons opinion... almost all of us..... love all kinds of fish and all size tanks.... thats what makes mfk so great... theres something here for everyone and then some... all of MFK is great because of the variety .... we are not measured by tank size....or how many tanks...

Why did it have to be a 5hex with a betta? That is one of my set ups. They be little monsters in their own right. Besides, as stated, everyone has to start somewhere and putting a minimum on tank size to be part of your little club will put a lot of people off. There is a lot of useful information shared on this site that can just as easily apply to a 10 gallon community tank as to John's 10k monster. Guess there is only one person tired of this.

I am getting tired of hearing about all these peoples 5-55gal aquariums. I know that this is a fish related site but we are ]V[onster fish keepers right. We have the sister site Aquaria Central. That's where these people belong IMO. I know that you can keep some monster fish in a 55 so i'll change my mind real quick and say 40 or less.

I am just tired of guys who post on here and all they have is a 5hex and a beta. COME ON.

ur first topic was about ur 54g tank on this site. "monster fish keepers"...and ohh btw no one replied to it...so is this some kind of a revenge/payback/whateva against other 54g/55g/40g owners because of something that happened with u a long time ago?
