Well, he managed 6 pages on 1 thread. impressive. I dont think this thread is really going anywhere...kinda going in circles.

MFK is more than monster tanks...its the ONLY aquaria forum on the web that is full of open minded and passionate people, period. I've been on many other forums, and they tend to be uptight, snobby, and critical. I'm not a fan of bare bottom JDM tanks...but this site as a collective offers much more than any other. No other site can you see everything from small community tanks or nano reefs all the way up to thousands of gallon monster tanks. With great users to go along with that.

I see the OP's point, but "monster" stands for so much more than a big fish.

Not to mention....people learn how to properly take care of a 'big' tank with input from others, knowledge & experience in taking care of 'small' tanks. I'd much rather see a single healthy Betta in a 5 Hex than 10 twelve inch Oscars in a 125 g.

There are lots of MonsterfishKeepers without fish...and who can very validly contribute to our common passion and knowledge.

Crap, this is a fish site.........Stupid bus driver dropped me off at the wrong stop.

Being a Monster Fish Keeper isn't about the tank size, or the size of your fish, its how large your heart is and how much passion you have for this hobby. I believe we can all safely say that all of us LOVE this hobby with a passion that is MONSTER.

:clap:clap:clap:clap

1st thing, how renowned you are on this site is DIRECTLY related to what you have, and how much you have. In terms of fishes, and tank size + ammount.

2nd thing, Nobody replied to his thread originally? Because it was only little? Seems like it to me.

i do not agree with you ... on MFK how known you are is how much time and energy you put into the hobby... by either being helpful to others, nice to others, or encourageing to others... because people remenber who you are by how you treat them... not by the size of your fish tank...

I was told in Aquaria Central chat the other day that I didn't belong because I said I didn't own any tanks smaller than 20 gallon and that I should come hang out here.

I was like WTF???

Ive seen otherwise mostly, maybe im just in the wrong areas :(
